Condolence: A year has passed, Nikki succumbed to a brain tumor last October. I know that Maxine and Nikki are now close again.

Condolence: We lived right next door to Maxine at the Danforth Senior Center here in Oklahoma City. Robert hung some things on the wall and helped her in other ways. The 3 of us quickly became close friends. Maxine was outspoken and wise, while at the same time exuding class and a wisdom seldom seen anymore. We are richer for having known her and calling her "friend". She will be sorely missed but fondly remembered by us.

Condolence: Maxine and my mother, Betty Mann, became close friends while living at Baptist Village in Oklahoma City. Their friendship endured through their health challenges and Betty will truly miss their conversations and support. Love to her family.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of serving as family doctor for Maxine for several years. I and all on our staff came to love her because she always had a smile and a kind word to say. She was gracious and humble. Many people including myself, learned from her how to properly age gracefully. What a blessing to know her.
