Obituary for Candace "Candy" L. Million

Candace "Candy" L. Million
Candace L. (Candy) Million, 67, of New Castle, passed away the evening of May 11, 2017 at her residence. Born on February 19, 1950 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Lois Martin Million and the late Charles P. Million Sr.

Candy had worked as the Vice President of Master Plan Funding and later worked as a flight attendant for US Airways. She retired as a registered ICU and ER nurse in Washington, D.C. She was a member of St. Vitus Church. In her earlier years, Candy enjoyed dancing and bowling, and she also was a talented interior designer. She truly loved being a nurse, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, Candy is survived by her daughter, Melissa Treloar and husband Timothy Sr. of New Castle; brother, Charles Million Jr. and wife Connie of New Castle; sister, Lisa Hammers and husband Rik of Beverly Hills, FL; and grandchildren, Timothy A. Treloar Jr., Tara A. Treloar, and Nicholas A. Treloar. She also will be missed by her dog and constant companion, Sophie. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Million.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. A procession will leave the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Vitus Church, conducted by Father Frank Almade, pastor.

Interment will take place in St. Vitus Cemetery.
