WATERBURY – Peter J. LeCheminant age, 59 of Waterbury passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at St. Marys Hospital with his devoted wife by his side. He was the husband of Cheryl (Stephens) LeCheminant.

Peter was born on November 22, 1957 in Barnaby, British Columbia the son of John LeCheminant of Sacramento CA and the late Joan (Baldwin LeCheminant. He and his family moved from British Columbia to Montreal Canada and then to Westford MA where Peter graduated from Westford Academy in 1976. He then moved to Denver CO where he met his wife Cheryl and they were married in 1983. Pete loved the outdoors, skiing in Colorado, hunting, fishing on his boat, golfing and most of all taking his dogs for a walk. Peter was a master carpenter and worked at LesCare Kitchens and then Robbins - Tesar as a trade show carpenter. Most recently he worked at St. Mary’s Hospital as a Security Officer. Pete will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Besides his loving wife, Cheryl, he is survived by his three brothers; Philip of Torrington, Christopher of British Columbia and Andrew of Myrtle Beach SC. He also leaves his best friend, his dog, Zack.

Funeral services for Mr. LeCheminant will be held privately at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Marys Hospital, Waterbury CT. Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury has been entrusted to assist the family with arrangements.
