Alexander John Gibbons
January 22, 1986 – May 11, 2017
Alex passed away on Thursday doing what he enjoyed, walking, when he suddenly collapsed.
He called himself “a big guy”, in contrast to his kind and gentle soul. He said his strength was that he was a “nice guy”.
As a teen, Alex enjoyed being physical snowboarding and skateboarding. He excelled at basketball, baseball, football and soccer. He accomplished a difficult hike to the top of Half Dome, with his Uncle ED, Dad and a friend. Alex loved to camp at PInecreast Lake, hike and walk in the nearby hills.
Alex will be deeply missed by his Mom: Cindy, Dad: Don his Aunt Chris and Denise, his Grandma Judy and his family. Alex will live in our heart and soul.
Alex, May you Rest in Peace.
Graveside service will be held on May 18th at Oakmont Memorial Park.
