Obituary for Paul O'Nan Jr.
Frankfort – Paul O’Nan, age 79, of Santa Clarita, California, passed away on March 16, 2017 in Burbank, California from complications with Parkinson’s disease and dementia. A memorial service will be held at the gravesite at Frankfort Cemetery on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Military honors will be observed by the VFW Post 4075 at the gravesite. He will be interred next to his mother, Lucille Helen Preston.
Mr. O’Nan was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 2, 1937 to the late Jesse and Lucille O’Nan. He was a truck driver by trade and served in the United States Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Bledsoe and his son, Terry O’Nan.
He is survived by his former wife, Lynda O’Nan; his children, Shery Morgan and spouse, Kara Speaker and spouse, Sean O’Nan and Janet Hanks. He was also blessed with 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Jackson, brothers, Jimmy Hansel, Donald Hansel, and Marvin McKinney.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
