My dear friend Carol. We met at Clements High School almost 30 years ago, were roommates at UT and have kept in touch over the years. I am so grateful that I got to have you in my life. The wonderful soul that you are will live on in our memories and that beautiful little girl. I miss you already. 💗

Carol was my friend, we had many great times in law school together, studied together, competed, danced and cried ( I reminded her by text in August that we officially met August of 1996 - 20 years we have known one another) After law school we both ended up in DALLAS. we were single together in Dallas; fun at times and difficult at others. In 2004 - Carol and I flew and roomed together for Leigh Ann's wedding(Carol's Alpha Phi sister). Carol and I were both determined to be on time, but a big fight was in Vegas that week and little did we know the cab lines were 25 plus minutes long-so even though we planned to arrive early - we were very close to being late - but we both - without saying anything - took our heels off as soon as we stepped foot in the Bellagio and we ran down the halls and made it - in true Carol and Krisi fashion - right in the nick of time! We were in each other's weddings, we fought both for and, yes even sometimes with each other - Our 15 plus years of girls Christmas Dinner's kept us very close over the years - along with others - the early group of Carol, Alyson, Ike, Leigh Ann and I and the later group of Brandy, Lisa, Danette, and others over the years, Aimee, Victoria, Christy, April, and others. I sadly missed Dec 2016's girls Christmas Dinner - the one and only since 2001 - I was sad then - but so very mad at myself now and even sadder. Many thanks to Alyson for keeping us all connected all these years and for continuing to hold us all together. Kyle - Carol and I spent hours walking and taking about how much she loved you in your dating years and after your engagement how much she knew you loved her. Cassidy has a very special mommy and Daddy and I know Carol will be watching over you both from Heaven! M.C. Merrit and Madison, her brother, her mom and her Dad very closely and the rest of us too!
