Obituary for Kathryn Ann Gauuan (Lapineg)
On May 12, 2017 at God's time, Kathryn Ann Lapineg Gauuan, with her husband Jim and daughter Cyndi Ann by her side, passed into the light of God under the watchful eye and saddened hearts of her family, friends, colleagues, and fellow spiritual warriors for God and Christ.
Her compassion and love for humanity was immeasurable but not one being brought more joy and happiness to her heart than her mamacita, Kyla Ann Lapineg Gauuan(granddaughter).
Kathryn(Born Dec. 12, 1960) was the devoted daughter of the late Francisco Lapineg; her mother Anita Lapineg, mourns the loss of her second child.
She was the loyal and loving sister of Violet Lapineg, Frank Lapineg, Debra Lapineg, Ron Torda(Kristen Torda), and the late Cynthia Torda.
Kathryn was an adoring aunt to Sydney Lew, Jeremy Solano, Jacob Torda, Michael VanBuskirk Solano, and Mya Solano.
Bank of Stockton was honored to have Kathryn to be supervisor of the bank card department. She was one of Mary Eberhardt's loyal soldiers. Nothing made Kathryn more proud than to serve the needs of her customers, colleagues, executives, and friends for more than 30 years.
She was also a proud member of the extended Del Rio family throughout California, Arizona, Texas, and beyond.
Kathryn leaves behind a squad of fun, loving, and compassionate friends. Who always knew they could depend on her when they needed her the most and also they would always return the favor with the same amount of loyalty that Kathryn had for them.
Kathryn's fierce loyalty, honor, and spirit will never be replaced in the hearts of her family, friends, colleagues, and even strangers knew her now departed love.
The celebration of Kathryn's life will be held Saturday, May 20th at 11AM
at the Lodi Funeral Home 725 South Fairmont Ave. There will also be an after party immediately following at the Elk's lodge in Stockton. thelodifuneralhome.com
