Mary Denise Lane, 58, of Stillwater, Oklahoma went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 14, 2017 in Edmond, Oklahoma. Viewing will be held on Thursday May 18, 2017 from 1pm- 9pm for the family. Public viewing will be held on Friday May 19, 2017 from 8am-9pm at the Strode Funeral Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Church of the Harvest in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Strode funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mary was born on February 17, 1959 to Johnny and Mary McCann of Ventura, CA.
She married Billy Lane on July 22, 1985 in Albany, Oregon.
The most important thing to Mary was her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed taking drives around the lake with her husband. Fishing and camping trips with her family. She loved to cook. Her favorite was making tacos and enchiladas. She had a heart of gold that touched everyone she encountered.
She is preceded in death by her father Johnny McCann and Brother Kenneth McCann.
She is survived by her mother Mary McCann of Albany, OR; husband Billy Lane of Stillwater, OK; four daughters Deanna Vineyard of Stillwater, OK; Cori Thomas of Cottonwood, CA; Callie Lane of Stillwater, OK and Joyce Lane of Boise, ID. Sons Billy Lane II of Twin Falls, ID and Jeremy Lane of Twin Falls, ID. Son-in-laws David Vineyard of Stillwater, OK; Shawn Thomas of Cottonwood, CA and Jason Wells of Stillwater, OK. Her brothers Larry McCann of Stillwater, OK and Robert McCann of Albany, OR. Fourteen grandchildren Shahalie, Dylyn, Makenzie, Laci, Erin, Jacob, Alayna, Ava, Corbin, Billy III, Skye, Bruce, Levi, Michael and three great grandchildren.
