Francesco “Cheech” Vocisano, 51, of Piscataway, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Oppido, Mamertina, Italy his family moved to Plainfield in 1967 before settling in Piscataway.
He went on to graduate from Piscataway High School in 1983 and became a skilled mason, owning and operating Frank Vocisano Masonry.
Cheech enjoyed concerts and music, especially Neil Diamond. He was known for his fun loving spirit and abundant generosity. Most of all, he enjoyed the quality time spent with his family and friends.
Surviving are his dear parents, Domenico and Sara Vocisano, his dear siblings, Vincenzo Vocisano, Angela Vocisano-Souza, Antonio Vocisano, and Domenica Vocisano-Darrow and husband Dennis Darrow, his adored nieces and nephews, Domenico and Sara Vocisano, Dalton and Amber Souza, Dennis and Vincenzo Darrow, and Antonio Vocisano, his loving girlfriend Karen Steiner and her children Sarina and Genaro, as well as his extended family and friends whom will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00PM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway.
Funeral services will begin with gathering on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 9:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, New Market Road, Piscataway.
