VIERHOUT; Edith passed peacefully with family by her side on Saturday May 20th at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Evert (2008). Loving mother of Wayne and his wife Louise of Mississauga, Cathy and her husband David Sohier of North Carolina, Fred and his wife Trish of Oshawa. Dear grandma of Megan and Jeremy, Garrett and Mackenzie. Edith will be sadly missed by her brother Nick (Donna) and her sister-in-law Tina (Bill). She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Friends may call at the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S. on Thursday May 25th from 10:15 A.M. until time of interment at Bond Head Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Donations in Edith’s memory may be made to The Durham Regional Cancer Cantre (R.S. McLaughlin Centre) through the funeral home 905-987-3964.
