Obituary for Janice E DiPerna (Innes)
DiPerna, Janice E (Innes), of Winchester, May 23, 2017, 65. Beloved wife of John F. DiPerna, Jr. Beloved mother of Rachel D. Perrotto and her husband Richard of Orangeburg, NY. Kathryn J. DiPerna and her husband Matthew Carey, of Winchester, and John F DiPerna III, of Winchester. Grandmother of Giovanni Salvatore Perrotto and Layla Shane Carey. Sister of Deborah Donahue and her husband Leo of Winchester, and William Innes and his wife Lorraine of Atkinson, NH. Daughter-in-law of John F. DiPerna, Sr., and his wife Jean. Also survived by many loving sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
Janice received her Bachelor’s Degree at Northeastern University and her Masters in Elementary Education at Simmons College. She taught Elementary School in Cambridge for 7 years before staying home to raise her family. She went on to teach at the Neighborhood Cooperative Nursery School, where she was the Director for 21 years. Janice was lucky enough to work with a group of women who became lifelong friends.
Janice loved her family unconditionally. She taught them to be accepting, patient and kind. She showered everyone she met with warmth and love. She lived these last 8 years with courage and grace, and her impact on anyone fortunate enough to know her was everlasting.
Visiting hours will be held at the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St., (Rte. 38) WINCHESTER on Thursday May 25th from 4 thru 7pm. Funeral Services & Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association Massachusetts
