Obituary for John Gardner McMullan

John Gardner  McMullan
John Gardner McMullan, 25, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in Southaven due to a motorcycle accident. He was born October 21, 1991 to Malcolm and Inita McMullan. He was a graduate of Tupelo High School and attended the University of Mississippi earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked at Tom Barrows Company in Memphis as a Sales Engineer. John was a member of Auburn Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Malcolm and Inita McMullan of Saltillo; his sister and brother-in-law, Lauren and Michael Warren of Oxford; two nieces who loved their John-John, Avery and Mary Frances; his paternal grandmother, Mary Frances Gardner of Baldwyn; his aunts and uncles, Nina Googe of Mantachie, Jeanene and Steve Heatherly of Marietta, Eileen and Leonard Wooldridge of Mantachie and George and Judy McMullan of Baldwyn; and a host of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Harold and Pearl Graham, John Frank McMullan and Jim Gardner.
Pallbearers will be Greg Anderson, Caleb Lawman, Cody Brock, Bob Gregory, Terry Miller, Tim Howell, Stephen Cantrell and Brandon Reddout.
Funeral Services will be 2 PM Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Auburn Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Henry officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 – until service time at the church. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial in John’s Memory may be made to the Ministry Village Fund at Auburn Baptist Church • 1138 Road 931 • Tupelo, MS 38804.
