Big Al

There is so much I could share about this man, most of which people who knew him already know. In our 50 years of friendship there was never a harsh word between us, he was more than just a friend, he was like an older brother, he offered guidence, insight and encouragement as myself and my wife started our lives together. We had many a trip to the Wisconsin cheese shops and pubs, our forays to the dog track in Waterloo (on one occasion Al threw away a ticket that after a review became a winner, he was head first in the barrel but he found it, it paid $1256.00). Carol and Al took the time and effort to visit us twice when we lived in AZ. they also took the time to come to my wife's brothers benefit when he was dying from cancer. He was one of the kindest most good hearted person I have ever known I will so miss him and our occasional lunches together. Rest in Peace my dear friend!
