Obituary for Richard E. Fogelsonger

Richard E.  Fogelsonger
Richard E. Fogelsonger, 66, of Walnut Bottom, PA, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

He was born April 20, 1951 in Chambersburg, PA. Richard was a son of the late Richard M. and Audrey G. McClellan Fogelsonger.

He retired from Lowes in Shippensburg where he was a manager. Richard was a 1969 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School and received his Bachelor’s degree in Business from Shippensburg University in 1973. He was a member of the Cumberland Valley Lodge # 315, F&AM, Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168, Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, Minnequa Social Club and the Hub City Club all in Shippensburg.

Richard is survived by one son, Thomas W. (Elica) Fogelsonger, Shippensburg; one daughter, Tawnya R. (Michael) McCain of Exton; two brothers, J. Leonard Fogelsonger of Chesapeake, VA and Thomas Edward Fogelsonger of Indiana, PA; four grandchildren, Jacquelyn and James and Raigan and Breeanna; and his beloved labs, Maggie and Sammy.

A visitation will be held in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. Shippensburg, on Saturday, July 8, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. A Masonic Service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow. The Rev. James O. Bolich will be officiating.
