The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of La Rue Horinek can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I was afraid when my emails were kicked back that the news would be sad. I really did not want to look for this obituary, but here it is. I didn't know most of the family personally, only through years of shared stories. La Rue and my mom, Shirley were good friends and I was fortunate enough to share a friendship with La Rue and Lee Roy as well. I will truly miss exchanging emails with this beautiful soul. She brightened my inbox and my life and I already miss her. Praying for comfort for the rest of the family. It's been a tough few years for all of you. Hugs and prayers. God bless you.
