Arlis Leon  Riley
Arlis Leon Riley, 80, passed from this life on June 7, 2017 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be 2:30 Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Perkins, OK. Dr. Thomas Hunter and Brother Mike Cannon will officiate. Interment will follow at the Perkins Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Arlis was born to John Albert and Velma Riley on November 4, 1936 in Perkins, OK. He took the hand of Linda J. Cameron in marriage on May 18, 1963.
Arlis attended and graduated from Perkins school. After that he was a cook and owned Riley’s Steak House for 40 years. Arlis was very outgoing and lived his life to the fullest. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, a Civil Service Director for 10 years, a volunteer for the Perkins Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years, and a member of the Lions Club.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father: one sister, Katherine Westfall; three brother-in-laws, Benjamin Westfall, James Dunn, Gale Sult; one nephew, and Jerry Sult.
He is survived by his wife; one son, John Riley (wife) Linda K; one sister, Karoline Dunn; seven grandchildren, Tyler M. Riley, Linda Riley, Garrett L. Riley, Noah J. Riley, Adam S. Riley, Chris Hazelwood, Brenton King; eight great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Lola Jean Sult; one niece, Sandra Heard (Larry) of Broken Arrow, OK; three nephews, Sam (Anita) Westfall of Chelsea, OK, Stan (Linda) Westfall of Sperry, OK., Stephen (Gigi) Westfall of Foyil, OK.
