April 15, 1931 – June 8, 2017

PHIPPEN, Gwendolyn Olive Sara Darlington – Peacefully with family by her side she went home to be with her Lord. Predeceased by her dear husbands Donald Darlington and George Phippen. She will be missed by her daughters, Rhonda (David Riegert) Dianne (Bruce Colwill), Melody Phippen, Linda (Barry Phippen deceased), her 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her sister Millie (Alfie Marritt) and close childhood friends Joan Kirkwood and Ella Baines who have faithfully visited and supported her these last few years. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shepherd Village bed fund or palliative care carts. A one hour visitation will be held in the chapel at Shepherd Village (3760 Sheppard Ave East in Toronto) at 10:00am on Tuesday, June 13th followed by a funeral service.
