Pauline Weaver Cheaves, 90, of Louisburg passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 after a period of declining health. Born on May 11, 1927 to the late Joe M. and Mattie B. Roberts Weaver. She farmed with her husband and later worked and retired from Sun Terrace. As long as her health allowed, she was a faithful, active member of Rock Spring Baptist Church.

She was a dutiful and loving wife to J.P. Cheaves who has been waiting in heaven for her since 1981. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mary Jane Sherian and her brothers, James Patrick Weaver and Joe M. Weaver, Jr.

She is survived by her brother, Thomas Weaver (Patricia), sisters-in-law, Mayola Weaver and Polly Cheaves and many special nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews and several dedicated cousins.

The family will receive friends Wednesday at 11:00 am at Rock Spring Baptist Church, 34 Rock Spring Church Road, Louisburg, NC 27549 where funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm with Reverend Melton Tyson and Pastor Roy Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
