Obituary for Asteria "Esther" Memmolo (Ruccolo)
Asteria “Esther” Memmolo, 83 years of age, of Lynnfield, formerly of Revere, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Cherished daughter of the late Nicola and Carolina Ruccolo. Beloved wife of the late Rizziero “Richie” Memmolo. Loving mother of the late Dr. Ciriaco “Jerry” Memmolo. Caring sister of the late Guiseppe, Angelantonio and Donato Ruccolo. Esther is survived by her loving sister-in-law Gina Ruccolo, many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Family and friends will honor Esther’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. REVERE on Monday, June 12th from 5PM to 8PM and again at 9AM Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to St. Anthony Church in Revere for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at 10AM. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, MA.
At the family’s request please OMIT flowers, donation may be made in Esther’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl Memphis, TN 38105.
