Condolence: Our condolences to Terry, Tim (Jacquie) and Tara on the passing of Terry. She was a generous inclusive person whose priority was love of her family. I shall never forget how welcoming she was to myself and my daughter, Meghan when we stayed at her house. Terry showed bravery in dealing with medical issues that came up; she was game to live as actively as she could despite these issues. My husband, Don Williams and Meghan extend best wishes to Terry, Tim and Tara as they deal with this loss.

Condolence From: Mark Fournier
Condolence: Hey Uncle Terry – I can sympathize that it has been a long week and a very trying time for you and the family.

I just wanted to send you our families’ deepest regrets for the passing of auntie Terry.

You were in our prayers for the past week and still in our thoughts and prayers for the many weeks ahead.

We told the kids on Sunday am before Kate’s softball game. Kate was visibly upset however I told her that she could dedicate her performance on the field today to Aunt Terry.

Kate had 2 hits and a walk….
Played a wonderful game at catcher…
Played with a certain determination that Kate displays when she is thinking…

I hope you find some peace and comfort in the coming weeks…. We are thinking about you and your family….

Condolence: Some memories to share of my dear Sister Terry that I will keep close to my heart.

We shared with each other our most precious secrets always.

She was my maid of honor at my wedding.

We protected each other when we were young.

We always walked home from school together.

We never shared clothes.

She always enjoyed watching me make butter tarts at Christmas and sampling the rejects.

She loved flowers and most times for my bday I knew she would bring me flowers.

She was my most trusted babysitter when the children were young. I could always count on my sister.

She loved her children and her grandchild Declan and always put them first at all times.

She was kind.

She was considerate.

She was polite.

She could always be trusted.

She hated gossip.

She always saw the good in people even when they behaved badly.

She loved being a Grandma.

She fought cancer with dignity and courage but knew her limits.

She loved and appreciated her home and taking care of it was important to her.

She really loved to walk around Home depot.

When growing up she was a tom boy and enjoyed fixing things.

She had beautiful thick hair which I was always envious of. She had hair like Our Grandma O'Brien.

She adored Grandma and Grandpa O'Brien and often talked later in life how much she enjoyed visits to their house especially at Christmas time.

She was a good worker and anyone who employed her got more than their monies worth in talent, commitment and conscientious work attitude. Work was very important to Terry.

She was an excellent cook. I will always remember the first time Bill and I went to Terry's home in Milton for Christmas dinner. We were young and starting our lives as married couples. It was a beautiful meal. Many meals followed together as our families grew with Terry and I sharing the work and commitment of get togethers.

Her very first job was peeling potatoes for the corner fish and chip store. She was in Grade 8.

She was generous with her time when you needed her and was always there for me when I needed a helping hand or advice.

I always felt that we were like twins and our souls spoke to each other. I felt her pain and her joy and she mine.

She loved animals especially dogs and cats. Butch our family dog when we were young was always Terry's dog. She loved Butch so very much.

We walked together when we lived near each other. Many times when we walked we would pick up garbage scattered on the walkways. It was always important to us to make sure our children lived in a clean neighborhood.

Terry enjoyed going to the cottage when young. Many stories and life dreams were discussed in the bunkie shared between us. We would sunbathe on the rocks.

Fun memories are going in the car with our Dad and Mom and getting a 5 cent dq ice cream cone. The exhibition with Uncle Jerry, ham sandwiches at Grandma's house, riding our bikes till time to come in at nite, liking the same boy at the same time, shopping at Reitmans, lunching at Windmill, walking the trails near my home, meeting Friday nite after work at the pub Coach and Four in Oakville for supper, breakfast at El Spero on a weekend morning, and getting together for holidays and special events in our lives.

Having tea in china cups that she brought back from her travels to Ireland for me.

Enjoying a glass of wine together served in her waterford crystal wine glasses.

Our special bday lunches.

Visits to Windmill to enjoy a muffin and some tea.

Sitting together on my front porch.

I will always remember Terry when I see an outdoor rocking chair. She loved to sit on her front verandah.

Buying me Tshirts when I was diagnosed with breast cancer so I looked nice when walking around the house.

Most of all always being there for each other no matter where we lived. It was an unwritten agreement that we made to each other a very long time ago when there was no fear of Cancer, life was ahead of us, we had dreams, hopes, and goals to accomplish.

We both agreed to accept that "Cancer has no Agenda". We were not going to be afraid.

I Am lost right now without my sister. She was my Best friend. This is new territory for me. I am not afraid. I feel her in my heart and soul. That will be enough for me while I am here on earth.

Shirley....
