The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Yvette LaChapelle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Family, I was touched by Yvette's generosity, kindness, and genuine passion for learning. She was so kind to organize a shower for me and my family upon the arrival of our son. I participated often in her Lunch and Learn programs at Bates College. I am so blessed that Yvette was in my life. My deepest condolences to you from Charles Nero and Baltasar Fra-Molinero, and our sons Carlos and Bernardo.

Condolence: Yvette meant so much to me. She never said no to a request though I think we sometimes asked much too much of us. The English Department could not have functioned without her and was a better place because of her.

Condolence: We are so saddened by the loss our friend, Yvette. She was one of the kindest people we ever knew. She taught me how to be a patient mother -by example. She helped us through a painful :empty nest stage"n We'll remember her and Paul as we experienced a great trip to Australia together. Thank God for the blessing of this lovely lady in our lives.
