Obituary for Michael R. Baksi Jr.

Michael R.  Baksi Jr.
Michael R. Baksi, 91, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Wednesday May 30, 2018 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
Born on August 28, 1926 in Marion Heights, PA, he was the son of the late Michael and Ann (Spishock) Baksi.
Michael was a graduate of Kulpmont High School, Kulpmont, PA. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. He had a long career as a warehouse manager and was recently retired from Enterprise, where he was a driver. Michael was a member and also an usher for the Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill, PA. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, and a past Commander for the Lower Allen Twp. VFW.
He is survived by a son, Gary M. Baksi and his wife Elizabeth, of Springfield, PA; a daughter, Sandra M. Baksi, of Camp Hill (Michael Fagan); and four grandchildren, Michael Clarke (Beth), Michael Baksi, Cali Newcomer (Michael), and Megan Baksi.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores M. Baksi, and two sisters, Elanor Anzulevich and Veronica Lucas.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 A.M on Friday June 8, 2018 in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 E. Trindle Rd., Camp Hill, PA, 17011, with Rev. Philip Burger as celebrant. A visitation with Michael’s family will be held in the church on Friday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the mass. Burial with full military honors will be held following the mass in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
