Condolences

Condolence From: Amy Evans Barlow
Condolence: Chris, Terri, Alan and Doug,
I was able to attend Bill's service, however, I did not get there early enough for the visitation prior.
On behalf of the entire Evans family, please know you have been in our thoughts and prayers over these last few weeks.
Steve was unable to attend, as he was out of town, but said what a mentor Bill was to him at the time he was entering OSU and considering Veterinarian School. Steve changed course and is a pilot for American Airlines 30+ years.
I also want to say how dearly loved Bill was to my parents. My mother's eyesight failed in her early retirement. I remember Bill coming to her house with a bag of "eye vitamins" in one hand and a medical journal in the other. A true friend.
Blessings to your family. What a legacy he left in your family and to many, many others.
Amy (Evans) Barlow

Condolence: I just heard that Dr. Smith has passed and wanted to say how fortunate we were to have him as our vet for so many years. He was a wonderful doctor and person. He took care of our pets as if they were his own. Heaven has truly gained an angel!

Condolence: I have just today learned of Dr. Smiths passing and am saddened by the news. I took my pets to him as far back as when his office was on Gettysburg Ave. and then when they moved to North Main St. He was not only a wonderful Veterinarian but also a wonderful person, very kind, compassionate , generous and always smiling and friendly! My Sympathy to all the family.

Condolence: It was a blessing to get to know Dr. Bill and Chris down in Florida. They added much to our home Bible study. He sure loved being around our cats. He loved the Lord, and the animals God created. Our prayers are with Chris and the rest of the family in your time of loss.

Can't wait to hang out with them also.... for ETERNITY ! Your Dad did not pick a good time of year to go to Heaven for the Wiley family to come sit and reminisce with the family. SUMMER CAMP is in full swing. Not sure if any of us can make it. Please send me your addresses, look me up on FACEBOOK as Jane Wiley Olsen or text /call me 937-597-1990. Condolence From: Larry and Pam Williamson, Dayton Ohio
Condolence: Chris and Family.. our heart was broken when we heard of Bill's passing. Bill was more than just our neighbor talking out in our front yard or yelling over the fence in the back. He was a freind. He always was given us good advise or talking about OSU football with Larry. He also took care of our doggies from 85 to 1998 when he retired. Now Dr. Weisberger has taken over. Our memories of Bill was him sitting in the front yard pulling weeds in his flower garden. He loved his yard. He would always tell our kids to go pick apples from his trees or pick the cherries. He also always told us to that he said a prayer every day for our family. As he would walk away he would say Go With God. Bill you are loved and will be missed so much and Heaven definitely got them a wonderful angel..love larry,Pam, Danny, Tyler and Melynda..

Condolence: To all the family, you are in my prayers at this time.
While it is a sad time for all, I can't help smiling when I think of Dr Smith. He had a personality larger than life, his booming voice filled any room he entered. He was always willing to share his Faith & say a prayer. Or tell a joke!
I knew Dr Smith first as our Veterinarian, later at Marmon Valley Farm & then when I worked for him & Dr Fergus. I cherished him as a Friend, a Mentor, a Boss & a Spiritual Guide.
I rejoice in his transition into Heaven & God's House.
God Bless!
