Life Story for Christopher T. Morley

Christopher T. Morley of Clarence Center, NY (formerly of North Salem, NY and Danbury, CT) passed away suddenly on Monday, June 19, 2017.
Chris was born in the Bronx , NY on May 9, 1954 to Thomas and Vera (nee Planells) Morley and grew up in the Throggs Neck section of the Bronx.

He is survived by his three children, Christopher Morley, MD, Catherine and Elizabeth Morley all of North Salem. Also surviving are his wife, Susan of Clarence Center and his step-daughters, Diana Sedita and Laura Cianflone and her husband, Andrew. Chris' three step-granddaughters, Courtney, Tessa and Emmie Cianflone will miss their “Baboo” terribly.

Chris also leaves behind his brother, Brian and sister-in-law Linda Morley; his sister Andrea O'Boyle, brother-in-law Pat and nephew Patrick O’Boyle. There are also many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss Chris and cherish their memories of him. He truly loved his family and spending time with them.

Chris was graduated from Manhattan College in 1976 and went on to earn a Juris Doctor Degree in 1981 from Brooklyn Law School. He established a successful career in the NYS Court System which spanned from 1977 to 2010 when he retired.

He will also be remembered as having served as a Councilman on the North Salem Town Board for 16 years from 1991 through 2007.

Chris was a man of great intelligence and had an even greater sense of humor. His interests were varied and eclectic – one never knew what email would pop up in their in-box from him. He enjoyed documentaries on world history; loved debating politics; delving into family genealogy; watching movies; writing fiction; reading; telling tales of his Hamptons adventures and so much more. He was definitely one of a kind and will never be forgotten.
