Life Story for James A. Boggan

James A.  Boggan
James Alexis Boggan, 64 husband of Ethel Hines-Boggan was born November 14, 1952 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. He exchanged his mortal garments for his immortal robe on June 19, 2017.

James received his formal education in Pinehurst School System of North Carolina, James enlisted in the United States Coast Guard where he served two years; receiving a honorable discharge.

James worked at Meadowlands racetrack as a horse trainer and later supervisor at Sharut Furniture Passaic; he also worked with Lenny Johnson Cleaning Service.

On May 17th 1986, James was united in marriage to Ethel Hines, after a few rocky years the two rejoined in marriage in 2012.

James knew The Lord Jesus Christ as his savior at a young age. He was taught the Catholic religion from a school age, once married he joined the Union Baptist Church in Passaic under the leadership of Dr. R.W. Johnson, where he sang on the Male Choir.

James love to play golf, played the guitar and wrote poetry, which he did whenever he got the chance; He was a very special person, he liked everyone.

James was predeceased by one brother Stanley Boggan.

Besides his wife James’s memory will be cherished by two sons Jamie Boggan and Courtney Wade, two daughters Ramona (Furlando) Butler, Rossie (Jason) Wade Volley, one step son Wanyae C. Irving, two brothers Leonard (Sherly) Boggan and Jimmy McDowell, three sisters Gloria (James) Davis, Linda Boggan and Olivia(Charles) Brown, ten grandchildren, sister in law MaDonna, Kim, Marybeth, Nyeeda and Nyella McCullum, brother in law James Davis, William McCullum, Algernon Lee, David McCullum and best friend Jerome Walton, close friend he loved like a mother Betty Jones and other family relatives and friends.
