Obituary for Dorisann Mooring
Dorisann (Williams) Mooring, 67, of Lords Valley, passed away June 23, 2017, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Schentectady, NY, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Mitchell) Williams.
For 46 years She was the happily married wife of Rudolph J. Mooring, whom she married on November 14, 1970. They spend everyday of their lives together in love.
Dorisann received her associate’s degree from Graham Junior College in Boston Massachusetts.
She was employed by Hemlock Farms Community Association as the Assistant Community Manager. Dorisann’s Hobbies and interests were her Job. She loved her work and spent her days in the office, attending meetings and working in the community. She was an avid walker and daily you could find her walking the community with her friends Dottie, Linda, Cheryl. She was a member of the C.A.I and received her PCAM certification.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children: Valerie, wife of Mack Garvin, West Reading; Craig, husband of Adaugo Mooring, Lawrenceville, GA; two siblings: Johnell Marion and Henrietta Ganswith; three grandchildren: Alandra Garvin, Xavier Garvin, and Josephine Mooring; and one sister-in –law, Marilyn Marion.
She was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Marion whom she joins in heaven.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 30, 2017, at 11 a.m. in Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Rd, Temple, PA 19560. Burial will follow in Laureldale Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday from 9-11 a.m. in the church. The Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
