Obituary for Catherine Claire ""Toots"" Thurston
Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at age 77. Preceded by parents, Michael and Kathleen Sheedy and twin sister, Carol Greir. Survived by husband, Harold Thurston; daughter, Laurie Johnson (Alex) and grandchildren, Alex, Kathleen and Hannah (Henry); son Harold “Chip” (Judy) and grandchildren, Jessica and Mary Kate; brothers, Kevin Sheedy (Mary) and Michael “Butch” Sheedy (Roseann).
No prior calling. A Celebration of Life and Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 29th, 10:30 AM at Peace of Christ Parish at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (553 Humboldt St.). In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity. Interment will be performed at the convenience of the family.
A special thank you to the staff at Brighton Manor who lovingly cared for Catherine or Katie as some referred to her. To share a memory of Catherine or send a condolence to the family visit www.crawfordfuneralhome.com.
