Mathers, Richard Gerald - In memory of a hard working and loyal man. Richard Gerald Mathers was born in South Porcupine, October 17, 1946. He worked 31 years for the town of Cobalt and married 49 years to Linda Mathers his devoted spouse.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Linda Mathers [nee Stewart], his two sons Richard Jr. of Ottawa and Allan of Cobalt. He is also survived by his brothers Billy, Donald, James, Chris, Tim and Larry as well as his sisters Sandra and Cindy. Richard is predeceased by his father Willard and his mother Doris.

The family of the late Richard Mathers will receive family and friends at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home on Thursday June 29, 2017 beginning at 9:00am. The memorial service will follow in the funeral home at 10:30am. Father Wayne Mills officiating. Interment will follow at the Cobalt Veterans Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
