Obituary for Harry Michael Dombroski

Harry Michael  Dombroski
Harry Michael Dombroski, 84, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017, in Arlington. Harry was born on September 12, 1932, in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania to the late Harry Mark Dombroski and Jeanne Corrigan Dombroski.

A man with a love of numbers and order, he would attend King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1954 with a B.S. degree in Accounting. Harry would serve his country first in the Naval Reserves and then spent two years in the U.S. Army serving in Puerto Rico and Kansas.

In November 1956, Harry married the love of his life, Connie McCue of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

He and Connie moved to New Jersey where he worked for Okonite Wire and Cable Company, RCA, and Ethicon Inc., a subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson. In 1965, Harry and his family relocated to Arlington, Texas where he assumed the position of Controller for Arbrook, Inc. a J&J subsidiary. Subsequently, he assumed the role as Director of Manufacturing with J&J and retired in 1992 with 30 plus years of service.

Harry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, jogging, keeping a beautiful and orderly yard, and reading his favorite crime fiction authors.


Harry was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Dombroski.

Survivors: Wife of 60 years, Connie Dombroski; sons, Harry Mark Dombroski and wife, Jan, Ned Dombroski, and Jack Dombroski and wife, Jill; daughters, Karen Bolton, Kathy Donchak and husband, Glendon, and Kim Julius and husband, Mike; sister, Nancy Tomcufcik; 10 grandchildren, Michael Dombroski and wife, Taylor, Kristen Zarosky and husband, Dr. John Zarosky, Brent and Morgan Bolton, Lauren and Kyle Julius, Jade and Jordan Dombroski, and Austin and Jackson Donchak; and 2 great-grandchildren, Payton Zarosky and Blake Dombroski.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Maria Goretti Youth Ministry,
American Cancer Society, or charity of your choice.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 30, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1200 S. Davis Dr., Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 29, with a rosary beginning at 7 p.m. at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church.
