Condolence: Oh my Goodness... I can't imagine this is anyone other than one of my best friends. My name is Chad Ackerson and I lived in a trailer park on the top of ridge road back in 1979 and Dorene lived across from me. She was my friend / baby sitter. Dorene's father's name was Richard and I remember they moved out to the hills somewhere and I got to go out to their new house with Dorene. I moved away in 1979 and lost touch but I remember playing with the Painter family and there was another nearby family. We were all a bunch of kids. I remember one time a kid named George lit a bottle rocket and sat it on the front of Dorene's trailer and it shot off and hit George in the back and caught his shirt on fire. We played in the field nearby. I had a crush on Dorene but she was a few years younger. I've told stories over the years about how Dorene and I would play slot cars and we'd build tents in my living room. I bet she's up in Heaven right now smiling down at me and she lead me to this page because I don't know why I was searching the obits in Cheyenne... I joined the Marines in 1986 and haven't been back since then. May she be remembered as the great person she was and may the family find Peace. Love, Chad

Condolence: Dear Alice, Earl, Susan, Evelyn, Howard, Jim, Noni, spouses, nieces & nephews. Our heartfelt anquish & sympathy to you all for the loss of Dorene. My heart hurts and my eyes keep leaking when I think of the summer Noni brought me home from college. What laughter Dorene brought to my life that summer. She was an indelible, marked, bright spot in my life. I will count on those memories to bring me comfort, knowing she is in a place of eternal joy and peace.

Condolence: I was good friends with Dorene in High School; she taught me to run. We spent many hours jogging and talking about life in general. She was truly one of the most down-to-earth and patient people I've ever known. She was taken far to young from this earth, but I have no doubt she's lending her kindness and patients to those beyond. My heart is with all her family and friends.29
