John Carr, 56 of Manalapan, passed away on July 1st, 2017 at home. Born in Jersey City, NJ., he was a resident of Hazlet for 25 years before settling in Manalapan. John was employee of Gannett Press in Freehold. He was an avid fisherman and loved animals of all types. John will be remembered as a friend to all with a wicked sense of humor.

John was predeceased by his father John Sr. He is survived by his mother Janice and step father Herb Klein; wife Lillian; step son John; step daughter Lisa and her husband David; grandsons Vincent and Michael; siblings Robert, Joseph, Donna, Ruth, Kelly, Toni, Charleen and Christine.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5th, from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 5:30 pm.
