Obituary for Michael Brant Miller

Michael Brant Miller
Michael Brant Miller, 14, of Battle Creek, fought his 18 month battle with cancer bravely and fiercely passing away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at his home with his family by his side. He was born August 3, 2002 in Battle Creek, the son of Brant and Tracy (Powell) Miller. Michael was a student at Battle Creek Central and was involved in their football and wrestling programs. Michael was in the M-66 Bowling League, starting at the age of 5. He enjoyed playing Magic The Gathering and Yu Gi Oh at BC Comics, his “home away from home”, and was very involved in tournaments and competitions.
He is survived by his parents, Brant and Tracy; sister, Shelbie Miller; paternal grandparents, Robert (Julia) Miller; maternal grandparents, Michael (Tina) Powell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the WK Kellogg Auditorium located at 50 West Van Buren Street. Burial will be at the Bedford Cemetery in Bedford Township, MI. Memorial tributes may be made to The Cure Starts Now Cancer Foundation and/or BC Central Football Program.
