Miriam Patricia Singleton, affectionately known as Honey, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Miriam was born August 13, 1952 to William and Cora Knowles in Manhattan, New York and was baptized in her youth as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed encouraging people through the Bible. On October 19, 1974 Miriam was married to her best friend and love of her life Benjamin Singleton. Miriam is survived by her husband, Ben, children Trina, Benita, Matthew (Nicole), Monica, Patrick, Kayla, Verazano and by grandchildren Chakhi, Zavion, Jayden, Iniyah, and Kaydence. She is also survived by siblings Adriana Johnson ( Roy) and Marvin Knowles (Candace). Miriam had a special friendship with her Sister-in-Law Leola Singleton with whom she would daily read from the Bible. Miriam will be missed by her many family members and close friends. A memorial service will be held July 15, 2017, 2PM at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 76 Daley Road, Poughkeepsie NY 12603. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wm. G.
