John J. Godi Sr., age 81 of West Haven passed away on Friday July 7, 2017 at CT. Hospice. He was the husband of the late Barbara Carocci Godi. Father of John J. (Debbie) Godi Jr., Michael Godi and Camille Godi. Grandfather of Marissa & Paige. Brother of the late Mary Barbaresi, Lena Stephens, Marcelline Pedicini, Yolanda, Harry and Albert Godi. Also survived by his sister in law Flo Godi and his dear friend Ron Ehrensperger. He was employed as a warehouse clerk for Yale New Haven Hospital until his retirement.
Visitation will take place Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 in St. Lawrence Church. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
