Obituary for Milton Culberson Lawdermilk

Milton Culberson Lawdermilk
~ Milton Culberson Lawdermilk, 76, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way.
Milton was born July 18, 1940 to Cub and Corrinne Lawdermilk at the old Shannon Hospital in San Angelo, Texas. He attended high school at Irion County High until the eleventh grade. Milton then received his GED in the Navy where he served during Vietnam. It was in the Navy that his love affair with machinery and mechanics began.
After returning to San Angelo, he met and married Beverly Bell in 1964. They then moved to the Rocker B Ranch where they started a family and raised two beautiful tomboy daughters, Janna and Jeanie (or Sam and Jake, as he affectionately called them). He married Jean Lawdermilk in 1989, and adopted her son, Andy Yost.
Throughout his life, Milton became a master of many trades. Among such were mechanics, welding, carpentry, farming, bee keeping, water well drilling, and, in his last years, gardening and canning.
Milton loved and spoiled his grandchildren; Ethan, Lori, Levi, Chy and Daisy. They loved him, and picked up many of his characteristics.
Milton is preceded in death by his father, Cub Lawdermilk; mother, Corrinne Lawdermilk; sister, Carolyn Bergman; and daughter, Jeanie Everett.
He is survived by his brother, Melvin Lawdermilk and wife Gaye; daughter, Janna Morris and husband Denny; grandchildren, Ethan Everett and wife Caitlin, Lori Sentell and husband JT, Levi Sparks and wife Haley, Chy Everett, and Daisy Glaspie; along with many, many friends. He will be greatly missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
