Condolence: Words cannot adequately express our sorrow in the loss of Marie. Someone so special can never be forgotten. May you find comfort in happy memories and in the words from our heavenly father Jehovah found at Isaiah 25:8; “He (God) will swallow up death forever. And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe the tears from all faces“ and Rev 21:4  “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.

Condolence: Oh how I love you Aunty Marie! . I always loved visiting you as a child and few overnight stays were so magical and special as were the smell of fresh caramel rolls! I love your amazing family too!! I loved your no nonsense practically and lack of pretension so much and I am now the same way. I loved watching your love of your sister Jeannie, my Mom, and just holding her hand for your whole visit when you came to visit her as she was losing her ability to converse. And your sweet phone calls to her now and then our quick little chat and updates. I'd read your letters to Mom and she enjoyed them so much. I appreciated when you literally held me up at Mom's burial by standing so close next to me and holding my arm and hand firmly and never moving. I loved your humor too and salt of the earth attitude as did my family. Sitting in living room telling funny stories after Dad's prayer service was first time I had laughed in a while. I wish I could have gotten to more reunions to have more memories with you as I became a Mom but I'll treasure the visits you made to Fargo which I so enjoyed. Especially when you rattled off the names off all your grandchildren. I wish I could be with all the Stoks but just can't get away for myriad of reasons which is upsetting but I hear Mom and Marie saying "Don't sweat it" You and your family will be in my prayers these next few months. I know how close you all are. I love you all so much. They are all a testament to the amazing Matriarch you were. Say hello to Mom for me. Love, your Niece Jill and family.

Condolence: Rest in sweet peace dear, sweet Auntie Marie! Thanks for always accepting me for me. For being Christ-like in so many ways and such a wonderfully strong support to me (and so many) over the years. For every letter you penned, for every call you took. For every story you shared, for the laughter, for everything, always.

If I close my eyes now I can hear your very sweet and distinct gravel-toned voice and laugh. It lit up the whole room and made my stomach tickle as a kid! You were joy in every sense. Even when we were just sitting around or doing the dishes. that's the best kind of joy there is!
Say hi to my mama, please Auntie. Tonight, I close my eyes and think of you, and I'll think of you again next time I catch the breeze blowing through the trees. I know where you are now. All around us and watching over everyone!
