Terry Janice Johnson, 62, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at United Hospital System-St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus, after a courageous 16-year battle with breast cancer.
Born on October 11, 1954, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Edna (Jensen) Kellman. She was a 1972 graduate of Tremper High School.
On April 5, 1980, she married William Johnson II in Kenosha.
She was employed by A.B. Schmitz Agency Inc. as their Vice President, Office Manager, and Controller for over 44 years, until her recent retirement on July 7th.
Terry was a member of Christ The King Church. Spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite thing to do. She enjoyed traveling with her sons’ baseball teams to Australia, Germany, and all over the Midwest. She also loved traveling to Florida, multiple times a year, for the last 21 years with her family and friends. She cherished time with her great friends, whether lifelong or other baseball moms.
Terry is survived by her husband, William; two sons, Billy (Katie) Johnson of Kenosha and Randy (Shannon) Johnson of Twin Lakes; three grandchildren, Claire, Charlie, and Leo Johnson; and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 24th, at Christ The King Church, 5934-8th Avenue, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 23rd, at Proko Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
