Delores "Jean'' Hunt

NORTHPORT - Delores "Jean'' Hunt, age 67, of Northport, Alabama, passed away peacefully at Hospice of West Alabama on Monday, July 17, 2017. She was born on September 12, 1949 to Ed and Mary Reynolds in Huntington, West Virginia.
Jean enjoyed crocheting, crafting, baking, shopping with her daughter and cheering on Alabama Athletics. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Jean will be missed deeply by those who knew and loved her so well.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hunt; son, Frankie Hunt, Jr.; brothers, Gary Reynolds and Tom Reynolds; sister, Sandy Koester; and brother-in-law, Karl Koester.
Jean is survived by her loving daughter, Donna Walker; son-in-law, Marty Walker; brothers, Robert Reynolds (Phoebe) and Rev. Don Reynolds (Brenda); sister-in-law, Nellie Reynolds; grandson, Francisco Torres-Hunt; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North, 4905 Highway 69 N, Northport, AL 35473. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Hospice of West Alabama.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of West Alabama for all their love, care and support given to Jean and her family during this difficult time.
Also, thanks to the numerous family and friends that has shown your love and support to Donna and Marty during these past few months.
