Condolence From: Rena Bultsma Lunders
Condolence: Mrs. Vander Tuin was a fabulous country school teacher to me in the 1960s. I will always remember she was the person I was with in school during recess when we heard that JFK had been shot--and we prayed together for him. She encouraged the best in her students and the education she helped provide has served me all the way through graduate school and beyond. Later in life she inspired me as a Christian willing to be adventurous enough to travel to China to do ESL for 10 years. She leaves behind big shoes to fill that made a very clear path to follow--the path of always serving snd loving others! If she left behind any photos of her time at Signal 6 school, I would love to receive copies via email of them.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about the loss if your mother, Wyonne. I know how difficult it is to lose a parent --- especially your last parent! I can promise that you and all of your family will be in my prayers. In reading her obituary, I can see that teaching came fairly natural for you considering your mom's extensive education. That coupled with her love for the Lord will help you all, I am sure. May God hold you all close over the next few weeks --- and longer!!!

Condolence From: Sharon
Condolence: Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of grief. My hope is that the words of Christ Jesus be of comfort, when he stated that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5: 28, 29). We can also take comfort in God's personal promise to "wipe out every tear" and that soon, even "death will be no more" (Revelation 21: 4).
