The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Violet Hazelwood can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

I remember Violet when she Jack and Joan lived in Eau Claire on Homestead Rd.
I have a picture of Violet standing in front of our spinning wheel.
She was able to get it working too.
Our condolences to your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Violet was an industrious person, not afraid of hard work. She continued to keep herself busy doing things for others for as long as she was able. She will have many stars in her crown.

Condolence From: Barry and Theresa Buker
Condolence: Barry and Theresa Buker and the rest of us here at Free Stuff 4 Daily Needs will miss Violet. It has been an honor and a privilege knowing her these past 8 years.

Her dedication to knitting and helping the less fortunate in our community will be dearly missed. Her mittens in particular were a much looked for item at our annual Christmas Giveaway event.

Like she would always say, "Don't you know that a child's favorite pastime is losing their mitts? But how can they lose their mitts if they don't have any mitts." She outfitted, literally, hundreds of local children with those mitts handcrafted by her loving hands.

Now, her dear Lord and Savior is saying to her, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
