Obituary for Amy Nichole Myer
Amy Nichole Myer-Winkles, age 25, passed away on July 26, 2017 in Arlington, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm on August 1, 2017 at Wade Family Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas.
Amy was born January 19, 1992 in Carrollton, Texas to Rick Lee Myer and Leslie Ann Edgett.
At just 9 months old, Amy won 1st place in a baby beauty pageant. She was a track and field star athlete at Hedrick Middle School and was in the marching band at Lewisville High School. She medaled in both school activities and in 2006 was the #1 hurdler in DISD. She had a passion for cosmetology and making people feel beautiful. She loved to stay active by hiking, playing basketball and running. Amy was a devoted mother with two beautiful children, Bailee and Brayden.
She is preceded in death by grandparents, Lewis Albert Fetzer III and Kathy Luck.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew Winkles; mom, Leslie Edgett; father, Rick Myer; dad, Boyd Johns III; sister, Tamara Adair; daughter, Bailee Winkles; son, Brayden Womack; grandmother, Lucy Myer; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
