Mr. Rogelio Guajardo Garcia,59, went to be with our Lord on Saturday July 29, 2017 in McAllen surrounded by his family. Rogelio was born in Reynosa Mexico on January 11, 1958 to Rogelio Guajardo and Julia Garcia.
Rogelio was a past resident of McAllen and resident of Pharr for the past 12 years. For the past seventeen years Rogelio was owner of Mi Sombrero Restaurant in Hidalgo/McAllen. He enjoyed time cooking, spending time with his grandchildren and his 3 pitbulls. He was a great example of the perfect husband, son, brother, dad, and grandfather. He was able to achieve any goal he set his mind to. Rogelio lived his life to its fullest.
He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
Rogelio was preceded in death by his father.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 42 years Hilda Leija Guajardo, his children- Norma Guajardo de Olivarez (Javier) Judith Guajardo, Rogelio I. Guajardo (Saharai), and Raul Torres.
His brothers and sisters; Martin, Jorge, + Juan Angel, Sandra, Carmen Julia, Leticia, and San Juanita Guajardo, Three grandchildren; Genesis, Unique, and Jesse James Olivarez. His mother Julia Guajardo

Visitation will take place on Monday July 31, 2017 at Legacy Chapels,4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be on Tuesday August 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Aaron De La Torre officiating. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Cemetery in Pharr.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
