Jesse J. Spitzer, 18, passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2017, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Medical Center Campus. He was born on November 17, 1998, in Kenosha, WI. Jesse is survived by his mother, Carol Spitzer; biological mother, Vicki Antonio; grandmother, Betty Taylor; sister Jen (Jodin) Froeber; and sister Stacy Huml.
He was preceded in death by his father, Keith “Wiener” Spitzer; grandfather, William Cross; grandmother, Viva Spitzer; and grandfather, Lee Spitzer.
Jesse attended Curtis Strange and Holy Rosary Elementary Schools, Washington Middle School, Bradford High School, and proudly graduated from Reuther High School in June of this year. He was in the process of enrolling at Gateway Technical College for the upcoming Fall semester and was employed by McDonald’s, being trained for a promotion.
Growing up, Jesse enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his nephew/best friend, Payton Huml, and taking trips to his dad’s property in Stoddard, WI. He loved animals, reading Stephen King novels, cooking, and watching scary movies. Though Jesse experienced quite a bit of turbulence in his short life, he grew up to become an intelligent, charming, brave, and witty young man. He was loved by so many people and will be missed immensely.
Visitation will be at Proko Funeral Home, 5111-60th Street, on Saturday, August 5th, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family in care of Proko Funeral Home would be greatly appreciated.
