John "Jack" Sweet
At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Jack Sweet of Lancaster; age 82 years. Beloved husband of Gail Sweet (nee Fenlon). Loving father of Meghann Sweet (Peter Bacogiannis) and John-Thomas Sweet. Cherished grandfather of Ella and Thomas. Jack will be sadly missed by a large extended family. Predeceased by his parents William Thomas and Olive (nee Organ) Sweet. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Sunday from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church (Church in the Wildwood), South Lancaster on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 2 pm. Interment to follow at St. John the Evangelist Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Jack a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
