Warren Cheung, 45, of Whistler, BC, passed away Tuesday August 1, 2017. Born in Hong Kong on April 26, 1972 and proudly lived in Canada from 1976. While growing up in Toronto, he was determined to live an adventurous, kind and free spirited life. His career in the hospitality industry took him across Canada beginning at The Granite Club in Toronto, ON to 16 years with the Fairmont Hotel working in Jasper, AB and Whistler, BC. It was in Whistler where he met and married the love of his life Vanessa Dy Teves on December 12, 2012 (12-12-12). Together they pursued their dream of traveling the world to destinations such as Hawaii, France, Spain, Japan, Philippines, and the Caribbean. Warren is survived by his parents Shu Chen Jane and Yuk Ling John, his brother Walter (Cindy), his sister Wanda (Jeff), his nieces Evelyn, Vanessa, Sabrina, Eliza, Kayla and his loving wife Vanessa. He lived the life he wanted. He loved and will always be loved. His wonderful spirit, joy and love will be celebrated at his Celebration of Life at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler on Sunday, August 6, 2017. Service begins at 2 pm and Reception from 2:30 to 5 pm. A Toronto Celebration of Life will be announced soon.
