Condolences

Condolence From: Jon
Condolence: I'll miss you Stacy. I'll never forget the summers we had all swimming in the pool together. No one could throw you in the pool as far as Stacy could.

I don't even think Stacy owned a bathing suit, his swimming attire was the same as his summer attire....cut-off jean shorts.

And he would be so excited to go for a swim that he'd often jump immediately into the pool as soon as he arrived. This often meant that Haley, my brothers and I had to fetch his pocket change from the bottom of the pool. he told us it was a game

But I'll never forget the time he jumped in the pool with a full pack of smokes in his pocket... It's wasn't a game that day. He was sad about the smokes but laughed it off and we had another great summer day in the pool.

Thanks for all the laughs big guy!

Condolence: Stacy, your battle is now over and we are left with so many memories only. I am choosing to remember the bonds between our families and all the good times we shared over the years. There will never be a holiday shared where you will not be on our minds, memories of you carving my turkey and telling me I do not need to cook 10 pounds of potatoes!
But today I am thinking of your hard fight, your courage and the independence you tried to hang on to right til the end. I never heard you complain or be bitter. You will continue to be an inspiration to us as we try to move forward and live our lives with the grace and dignity we witnessed over this last two years.
To my sister Heather, you were his rock, caregiver and his protector on this journey, supporting him through surgeries, medical appointments, whatever he needed.I have so much respect for you.
Haley, my niece, so much love going out to you.Your Dad was so very proud of you and loved you so much. You were able to spend quality time with your dad and you gave him so much joy and I hope the memories give you strength.Love always
Stacy..may the winds of heaven blow softly in your ear, whispering you are loved and missed!

Condolence: Stacy you showed such indomitable strength but your journey is over and I have to believe your destination is a better place. You took a piece of my heart with you and I want you to keep it. See you on the other side.

Condolence: Stace
I know I probably never told you how much I loved you, and how I cherished our time together. I looked forward to every visit we had, the laughs and the wild tales. You were so special to so many people. Let's be honest, I never would have passed grade 10 geography without you. Everyone remembers my uncle Stace and has a story to share! You never had a negative thing to say about anyone... and I have been in awe of your grace and resiliency despite the difficult road you have walked the last few years. I know you are at peace. I will miss you terribly, but know I'll see you down the road. All my love.
