My fondest memories of Coldwater includes the "icon" of "Phyllis Stankewicz" - she always seemed liked she was making homemade cookies. I enjoyed how she saved the Coldwater Daily news and knew our parents would always go home with a brown grocery bag of them. And, I remember that big back yard or maybe it just appeared "huge" as a child. One thing I will alway cherish was Phyllis and her kindness and what a good friend she was to mom and dad. She will be greatly missed. Thinking and sending our prayers to the whole family!!! (Together again, makes me smile to think what kind of party those parents of ours are having!!) 💕
