F. Thomas Shingler, 81, of 4410 Old U.S. Hwy 322, Reedsville passed away on Saturday August 12, 2017 at 7:02 a.m. at his home.
Born October 25, 1935, he was the son of the late Cathryn E. (Wynn) and Chalmer J. Shingler.
Thomas leaves behind his best friend of 61 years, his wife, Sally (Miller) Shingler, Children, Scott Shingler and wife Robin, Michele Hetzel and husband Richard all of Bucks Co., Cathy Barkee of OR, and a brother, Robert Shingler of IN, Grandchildren, Ryan Hetzel and wife Julie, Morgan Termyna and husband Edward, Shelby Hetzel, Garrett Shingler and wife Jillian, Casey Hetzel, Chase Shingler, and Max Barkee, and two beautiful Great-Granddaughters, Everly Mae Hetzel, and Kimber Grace Shingler.

Thomas retired from the U.S. Steel Corporation, he was employed by Fairless Works in Bucks Co., He was a member of the Church Hill United Methodist Church in Reedsville, The Masonic Lodge for 59 ½ years, and the Jaffa Shrine in Altoona for 10 years. Most of all, Thomas loved spending time with his family.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
