Rita Rosemary (Lee) Devaney, 69, of Hampton, passed away peacefully at Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown on August 16, 2017.

Born in Bronx, New York, to the late Harry and Rita (Traynor) Lee, she was a former resident of Middlesex, before settling in Hampton, NJ over thirty years ago.

Rita was a former administrative assistant with Liberty Mutual Insurance, and went on to arrange flowers with Rose and Raddish Florist in Whitehouse Station. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and faith community.
Rita was a devoted member of the Faith Fellowship in Sayreville.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 43 years, Edward Devaney, two cherished children; Douglas of Somerset and Sarah of Hampton, dear siblings; Daniel Lee of New York City, Ellen Fleming of Middlesex, John Lee of Thailand and Catherine Boyle of Renton, VA and ten cherished nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00PM at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway.

Funeral services will begin with a prayer at 10:00AM on Monday, August 21, 2017 at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery, Bound Brook.
