THORP, Percy Sidney “Bud”– Passed away, peacefully, in St. Catharines on Saturday, August 19, 2017 in his 80th year. Beloved husband for 53 years of Mary. Proud and loving father of Allan (Wendy). Dear brother of Joan Smith (Bob). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Percy was well respected in his industry and at Ault Dairies where he spent ten years as a Management Consultant following his retirement. He was a man who could always be counted on, to be there to help, no matter the situation. Percy worked hard, but always made time to enjoy life outside the office. He spent many a summers' day at the family cottage in Victoria Harbour. A devoted husband and father, he leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion and strength.
